Qualifications

The successful RIA candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • AUM range: $50 million - $500 million
  • Fee-only pricing structure
  • Clients: individuals, families and trusts; investable assets: $500k - $20m
  • CPA, JD or CFP (dual credentials preferred)
  • 5+ years financial planning experience with HNW clients
  • Previous comprehensive, fee-based planning experience
  • Demonstrated level of technical expertise on estate, tax and wealth planning issues
  • Effective presentation, listening, writing and communication skills

Wealth Strategist

Responsibilities:

  • Client Meetings
    • Scheduling and creating agendas
    • Preparing applicable reports e.g. financial plans, performance reports, etc.
    • Attending client meetings and taking notes
    • Preparing and managing meeting follow up
    • Performing financial analysis to guide clients through making informed decisions
    • Ensuring all action items, client requests, and communications are taken care of on a timely basis
  • Managing new client onboarding
    • Gathering relevant client information and documentation
    • Maintaining and organizing Salesforce records and client documents
    • Overseeing Operations and Planning Tasks
  • Other
    • Researching financial planning questions
    • Monitoring equity compensation plans and maintaining spreadsheets with relevant data
    • Assisting with investment portfolios (if appropriate and compliant)
    • Filling out paperwork when needed (helpful to have experience with subscription documents and basic understanding of various entity structures)
    • Coordinating and communicating with CPAs, attorneys, insurance brokers, and bookkeepers where needed

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years industry experience (with HNW clients, preferred)
  • Series 65 or equivalent securities license (preferred)
  • CFP, CPA, or JD (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance many projects simultaneously
  • Client first attitude

The Wealth Strategist will be joining a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisory firm with a culture of entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration. As a member of our Wealth Strategy Team, the Wealth Strategist will support one or more of our accomplished advisors in both managing existing client relationships as well as successfully onboarding new clients.

Operations Associate – Core Service

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create client portfolios via the firm’s performance reporting software.
  • Produce quarterly performance reports and upload to the client portal.
  • Execute performance reconciliations of Fidelity, Schwab, and TD Ameritrade custodial data.
  • Create, reconcile, and input Alternative Investments holdings by analyzing and reconciling investor capital account activity.
  • Provide the Client Service Team with data regarding cost basis updates, annual Required Minimum Distributions, and year-end tax projection reporting as needed.
  • Work with the Chief Investment Officer to research and oversee firm asset classifications.
  • Work with the Chief Financial Officer to help process the firm's quarterly billing.
  • Produce the weekly Trade Blotter for review by Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Serve as a resource to multiple financial advisors in supporting client relationships.
  • Participate in cross-functional group projects to improve quality and efficiency within the team.

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Very strong attention to detail and problem solver.
  • Savvy with technology, especially as it pertains to data entry and systems maintenance.
  • Deadline oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).

The Operations Associate will be joining a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisor firm with a culture of entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration. The Associate will be dedicated to quality control via a variety of performance and project management responsibilities within our firm. As a member of Operations - Core Service, the Associate will work closely with our financial advisors, vendors, and custodian support teams as well as provide project assistance to our CIO, CFO, and President.
