Profile

Leslie Tietz
I come from a big family and am the youngest of 6 kids. My favorite memories from growing up involve all of us being together for holiday dinners and being around my nieces and nephews; they were such fun kids!
Some of my favorite hobbies include going to see live music and musicals, watching documentaries and throwing dinner parties for my friends.
I am very proud that I forged my own path in life by moving to a new city away from family and friends and trusting myself enough to make it happen.
There are still a lot of places I would love to explore but the two experiences that are at the top of my list are visiting the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand and going on a safari in Kenya.
David Sedaris is my favorite. I appreciate his observational humor and skewed perspective of the world and his books always make me laugh. I’ve seen him speak multiple times and have read all his books – Me Talk Pretty One Day is my favorite.
